Just below the Lodge this crystal clear river slows to a large lake which overflows over to a stunning waterfall providing a cascading, burble of sound. The Lodge is 9700 sq ft of stately larch logs featuring an open great room with a two story rock fireplace. Large windows overlook the waters where extensive waterfowl are in residence - loons, geese, ducks, sandhill crane, blue heron. Eight bedrooms, 6 baths, two kitchens and scenic dining room. Designed by Dr. Keith Peterson (longtime team physician for the Seattle Mariners ballclub), the Lodge is situated to experience the river, lake and tumbling waterfall all at once. Benedict Creek joins the Clearwater below the Lodge with a caretakers cabin along side. Ideal fishing throughout. Located just 5 miles north of Seeley Lake, the Bob Marshall Wilderness is close by.
